P.O.S. Signage and merchandisers are typically those pieces that do not directly contain product for sale, but support the sales efforts of a product or product line in other parts of the store. These marketing tools are very wide ranging from simple signs to complex three dimensional fixtures. Often, these pieces are one part of any overall marketing program intended to be the final advertising piece at the point of the sale.

On the simple end of the spectrum, Vanguard can make headers, signs, poll signs and case cards with easel backs on a multitude of substrates. For outdoor or damp applications, Vanguard is one of a few companies that can direct flexo print on plastic corrugated. Flexo printing is significantly more cost effective than traditional silk screening. While corrugated sheets are by far the most common substrate for signage, we also do both laminating and direct printing to foam core sheets for a clean appearance at the store level. If a store requires the clean look of foam core but has sustainability rules which prevent the use of foam core, we can use a triple bleach sheet of corrugated to answer both aspects.

On the complicated end of the spectrum, Vanguard is experienced in complex signage such as those found in movie theaters. Often, these are large scale pieces frequently incorporating lights and motors. Another application of this theme is movie support in store for DVD release. Often these pieces are designed and built to attach to an existing fixture in a store or possibly to even span between multiple fixtures.
